BIOGRAPHY

Sine Özbilge is a Belgium based multidisciplinary visual artist, XR explorer and film director. She lectures at the animation faculty of LUCA School of Arts, while directing films and interactive media at Lunanime as well as Cinnamon Entertainment. Her work has been showcased at acclaimed art institutions such as the Ars Electronica, Sharjah Art Foundation, Istanbul Museum of Modern Art as well as film festivals ranging from Ann Arbour to the BFI.
Her work focuses on Cyberfeminism, Technology, the Subconscious, Human Behaviour, Post-Net Aesthetics and Absurdism. Recently she has delved into the XR industry and is currently developing a VR experience supported by the Flemish Audiovisual Funds. She often works in a duo on multiple projects with her sister Imge Özbilge.
