Cathex is an artistic interactive VR experience that takes the audience through a journey of catharsis, based on Mary Whiton Calkins’ philosophies, the Universe as the Absolute Self and Panpsychism through a Cyberfeminist lens. Players are immersed into a Womb like subconscious, where they must seek a long forgotten memory of origin. Through emotion regulatory movements in VR, they become a catalyst of the unfolding storyline. Cathex is made by an all womxn & non-binary team of creatives.
